Sheridan is doing amazingly well adjusting to having a new little person kicking around the house. While he gets a little too close sometimes while rocking Joshua in his carseat, he is nonetheless eager to express affection for his "Joshua Baby" and to try to give him a soother, or an armful of stuffed dogs.
He has also, in the last week, gone from diapers to fully toilet trained. It seems as soon as he got the idea of what was involved, that's all it took. Today, Scott fell asleep on the couch, I was sleeping with Joshua in the bedroom and Sheridan had to go to the bathroom (bm). So he did. Marched himself over, took down the clothing, hopped up on the toilet and went.
Together with the toilet training, Sheridan has also decided that it is time for him to dress himself, thank you very much. Shirts are still a bit of a struggle, but underwear and pants and shoes and hats are just fine. Shirts, coats and socks are the troublemakers in his closet.
I'm so damn proud of that boy.
