Sheridan's continuing to enjoy his playcare situation, and his reading is so improved I'm stunned. He's reading fluently now, but still reading aloud. When he gets stuck, he asks, but otherwise wants to read to himself usually. The books he's reading are marked "age 5-9", but he's reading solidly. Any of the "is your child ready to read on his own" books are any good at all for him. He's down to reading the fineprint on all the books he has, including the "age 5-9" books.
